Long time since I made something serious. It was fun to make.

This picture was taken a few days after D-day, in 1944. It represents two american soldiers playing with a young french girl's puppy. I don't know anything more.



Original picture belongs to National Archives

rwjtrw4tw This is awesome. The faces are positively perfect, and the way the girl look shell-shicked yet happy is very unique. The uniforms and the folds in them, though based off a photograph, are still excellently done. I salute you. :salute:

see this is awesome. there are alot of deviations on da but not many that actually have any feeling behind them like this. in a website full of anime and portraits its stuff like this that i keep coming back to da.
and i'll see about getting the print.
