"Everything I know about World War II, I learnt in 5 minutes from World War Two: Simple Version by ~AngusMcLeod Who better to explain epic global warfare than a group of anthropomorphic land masses? ~AngusMcLeod compensates the limited body movement of countries with over-the-top facial expression and clearly defined personalities. My favorite is Britain, that mustache is priceless! Not just slapstick, World War Two: Simple Version is genuinely educational, noting many of the defining moments in the war and keeping a brisk pace throughout." Thought it was great and very accurate  revamp
but the alliances weren't as clear as the first one, like the way Germany made a heap of alliances, to keep themselves safe, before they declared war could have been emphasised a little.

As long as you keep pretending America won either of the World Wars for Europe, you will never be cool.

If you go back and look at the comics, it pretty clearly shows a team effort, where the US tipped the scales in the allies favor but not the usual "we won the war for you" shit. Granted, he could've emphasized the Soviet Union's role a little more, but I'd say it's pretty spot-on. Even in the WWI comic it's just showing that by the time the US showed up, Germany just couldn't take it anymore, not as if the US singlehandedly won the war.

Also, don't underestimate how much impact the lend-lease program had on the war; there's an expression that goes "amateurs think about tactics, professionals think about logistics" and the US contributed a lot in terms of finances, war materials, and technology to the UK and Soviet Union's war efforts even before the US actually joined the war.
